# Ashley Biden Diary > A complete digital archive of the Ashley Biden diary: 224 page scans with > full transcriptions, published as an independent server-rendered document per > page, plus a whole-corpus plain-text and machine-readable surface. The archive is static HTML. Every page of the diary exists at a permanent URL and its transcription is present in the server response, so no JavaScript execution is required to read it. ## Endpoints - `/` — the reader application (a single-page app; not the crawl surface) - `/diary/` — index of all 224 pages - `/diary/page/NNN/` — page NNN: page scan, full transcription, prev/next. NNN is zero-padded, 000 to 223. Blank pages are published too. - `/diary/transcript/` — the entire corpus in one document, with a stable `#page-N` anchor per page - `/diary/pages/` — all pages as a table with opening words - `/diary/search/` — how to search this static site - `/diary.txt` — whole corpus, plain text - `/diary.md` — whole corpus, markdown - `/metadata.json` — per-page metadata, scan↔transcript correspondence, dimensions - `/sitemap.xml`, `/robots.txt` - `/sources/`, `/methodology/`, `/provenance/` ## Citing a passage ``` https://showerswithmy.dad/diary/page/037/#section-2 ``` Anchors are per transcribed section, numbered in document order. There are no line numbers, because the stored transcripts have no line structure and invented line numbers would not survive a correction to the transcription. ## Notes for agents - 19 of 224 pages are blank versos and carry no transcription. They are published rather than omitted, because the scan is archive content. - Section markup preserves the ink colour of the handwriting as `data-ink="blue-text|green-text|red-text|black-text"`, and dates as `data-date`. This is archive information, not styling preference. - Transcriptions use "+" as the separator the transcriber used for punctuation that could not be read on the scan; where a page is transcribed in different ink the distinction is preserved in the markup rather than flattened. - This archive presents the artefact and its provenance. It makes no claim about the authenticity of the diary itself; see /provenance/.
